Living in the Past (for an hour or so)

This morning I will visit a creative writing class at University Laboratory High School (associated with the University of Illinois in Urbana) from which I graduated almost fifty years ago. Yep, I'm from the Class of 1960. That proves it. I'm practically older than dirt.

This should be a fun morning. I'll write more about the experience as soon as I can.

In the meantime, note that it's raining here in central Illinois, but back home in Northern Colorado, it snowed. Just in case you were wondering.

Snow! That's a Februaryish occurrence for those of us in Charlotte.

Enjoy your talk with the creative writing class!

And we're in the midst of a mid-90's heat wave, which is SO WRONG for October.
I'm looking forward to Quebec tomorrow. Bring on the cold!

No snow here! It would be odd for my little corner to get any before January.

Enjoy your trip down memory lane; and try to ignore that university students look like they're all no older than 16!

It's getting "warmer" today.
Enjoy the class.

Hope you had a great class. SNOW in North Colorado? You sidestepped that nicely, lol. Still rainy season (Fall) here in Michigan, but when the sun shines the colors are fabulous.
