Tomorrow I need a "J" word for the A to Z Blog Challenge. I'm working on that.
And I'm enjoying a family day. We need to visit the bookstore for birthday books, and there's a cool playroom/coffee shop combination to check out.
Plus I bought a few pansies to plant.
It's been a long time since I posted photos, so I need to get busy with the camera.
And I'm on the hunt for worms. I went to my favorite nursery yesterday for worms for my compost bin and they didn't have any. Seems there's a shortage of composting worms in my town. I'm not in the mood to go worm digging. I'll make a few more calls and see if I can find a supply anywhere else.
Maybe I'll write about worms when I get to "W" -- if I can think of a way to tie worms to writing.
Well, duh. Writing about worms. That's a double W.
See you tomorrow.

Enjoy planting those pansies! I'm taking 10 13-yr olds to play paintball. Sounds like a 'p' day for me...

I'm planting in my garden as soon as the man and I get the fence finished. Yay - do you know there is some chemical in dirt that actually makes us feel good? It is the same that is in chocolate I think. By the way, I'm a 'J' word - Jan in a jam, jumping joyfully in june! yikes.
Hunting for Worms! Sounds like a great title for a short story. I'd read it!
Have a great day.
Hi, Patricia,
If you live near where people go fishing, maybe you could buy some night crawlers? Just an idea.
A lot of books have been written about worms. One is "How to eat Fried Worms". haha.
I haven't decided yet what my G subject will be. I know it will just come to me out of the blue, so to speak.

I'll the second the suggestion to buy fishing worms. When we built our garden in a top-soil scraped subdivision, we needed to create planting beds. The fishing stores came to the rescue when the nurseries didn't have any.
Enjoy your day off. I love planting new flowers...that's the only time they look nice because I'm not a gardener.
