J is for Java or Joe

My dad and uncle used to sing the Java Jive a lot. (That link is to a fun Manhattan Transfer video clip on You Tube). Anyway, I feel that way about my coffee, too. Of all the coffees I've enjoyed on my travels (and I must do my best to stick to my travel theme throughout the A to Z Challenge), I'm most fond of the Douwe Egberts coffee I first tasted in Wavre, Belgium.

And that leads to the fact I'm on a Coffee Break over at Chiseled in Rock blog where I'm talking about ghosts. Since yesterday's CIR contributor Janet Fogg wrote about talking to the dead, ghosts seemed to fit right in. I hope you'll join us for a cup of java and leave a comment about your own ghostly experiences.

How about that? Did my "J" post work?

Java, Joe, plain old coffee always works for me.

I like coffee and the Manhattan Transfer. Coffee and jazz go together.

I love ghosts and their stories. I'm also with "theycallme varmit" I don't drink it but love to walk by a place that sells coffee and sniff it.

Jave: my drug of choice. ... And, "they" say it's even healthy for you.

too late in the day for java for me but I have always loved that song - I love making the sizzle sound when I sing it!

Java, one of the best things J can stand for. The thing that gets us going in the morning and keeps us on the move. I had forgotten about Java Jive, thanks for the reminder.

Wonderful photo of Katie Kitten.

My father used to get coffee at a place called "Java Jive" which intrigued me as a child--I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 40, a late bloomer.

I have been enjoying my morning coffee more than ever lately since I bought a coffee grinder and started using the whole bean coffee. Now that's some good stuff! I usually down three cups while I start my blogging activity.

Hope all is going well with you Patricia. Haven't been here since we began. I haven't even gotten to all the bloggers that have left comments everyday. This has been crazy fun so far!
