The Monday Special Report

Here's your chance to win a copy of The Ledge by Jim Davidson

If you like edge of your seat suspense and true life adventure, you must read The Ledge by Jim Davidson. On the way down from a trek up Mount Ranier, Jim and his partner fell into an icy crevasse. The Ledge is the gripping story of this terrifying accident and the events leading up to and following.

Jim's story was also featured on Animal Planet's I Shouldn't Be Alive series in a segment called "Killer Crevasse."

Dean K. Miller posted an excellent blog interview with Jim on Friday, and they're going to give away a signed copy of the paperback book on the 18th. You need to visit Dean's blog and leave a comment on that post to qualify.

Getting the Blog Back to "Normal"

After the flurry of guest posts last week, my blog is getting back to a normal schedule (at least as far as normal ever happens around here). I'll try to have most of my guests on Thursdays, with an occasional Monday for an author with a new release. You can see from the 2013 schedule in the right sidebar that I have a lot of Thursday openings. If you write humor in your novels, short stories, or personal essays, I'm very interested in talking to you about doing a guest post here. You can contact me at the e-mail address I have in this blog's author profile.

I'll still be over at Chiseled in Rock blog on most Tuesdays, but a Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers member from the western slope of Colorado will be taking over the first Tuesday starting February 5th.

On my own blog, I plan to write regular posts (whatever regular means) on Mondays, the first Tuesday, and Saturdays. And I might go back to a regular Wednesday post. Probably. Maybe.

Normal is a sometimes thing.

Pat - I couldn't agree more. Normal can be very good. Thanks for sharing your blogging plans.

Hi Pat. Thanks for the shout-out about Jim's book and my site.

I'll think about a humor piece (besides the small quip in my Valentine's special) for later on.

BTW: who needs normal when we have now?

Thanks again!

Looking at your planned schedule it beats me how you keep track!
