Travel Day Break...and a photo essay rerun

Yep, we're flying back home this morning. It will be good to get back to Colorado and sleep in our own bed. The older I get, the less I find travel appealing.

However, I didn't want to leave you without even a cheery photo to look at, so I'm rerunning an October 2011 post of photos taken in and around Fort Collins, Colorado.

More art in a public place

One of the pianos about town being tuned

A painted horse

A flash mob advertising a Rocky Horror Show

Another one of the pianos about town

And one more

I'll be back tomorrow at Chiseled in Rock blog with a writerly post about synopses. Hope to see you there.

Nice artwork on those pianos.

I love Ft. Collins. I did a 5k there many years ago (back in my younger faster days) and loved hanging out in the town. Great area and still retains that small-town feel.

Cool photos. I know what you mean about traveling being less desirable with age, although I usually enjoy myself when I get there the trip seems to take forever.
Stay safe!

My fave is the fisherman reading a book. How can life get any better?

Safe travels.

I love those old pianos. In our town, we have painted pigs. Not as cool.
