Zephyr the Zany Zebra

Blogging from A to Z April Challenge

The ABCs of Behavior and Emotions

Zephyr the Zany Zebra

No one enjoyed life more than Zephyr.

He romped after the gazelles and tried to mimic their leaps and bounds.

He trudged behind the elephants and copied their stomping and trumpeting.

He crept around the pride of lions and imitated their head shaking and throaty growl.

All in all, Zephyr was an outstanding impersonator and an entertaining comedian. That made him a very popular guy, because Zephyr, bless his sweet heart, made all the other creatures laugh, even those he impersonated so well.

We know how important laughter can be in this tough old world. I hope some of my challenge posts gave you a giggle and others made you think a bit.

If you read most of these posts this month, which one was your favorite?

My reflections on the Challenge will post on May 4th.

Pat - Oh, I've richly enjoyed your posts this month. Really I have. I think I feel saddest for Rebecca the Respectful Rabbit, who never gets the attention she should, and I give you 'clever credit' for Nadine the Naughty Newt. But really, they're all absolutely terrific. What a creative way to do this challenge!

Ahh very happy to have met Zephyr. Very much the life of the party. But I'm going to miss everyone, Pat, even Yolanda and Xander - I'll reconsider about having them as road trip companions. I'm sure we could learn a lot from each other ;)

Truly it has been wonderful reading your posts this entire month of April, Pat. I wish you all the best in your next project and happy writing.

Oh I like Zephyr! I'm mad for zebras and this is a particularly nice one. Hmmm... fave animal this month - I think it has to be Sylvester the Sloth. I liked his particular insistence on doing things his way!

Your posts have helped me through the month, Pat, and I do hope you're going to put them all together in a children's book! Well done on finishing the challenge! We did it!!!

We could all use more Zephyrs in our life. I loved your stories and can't even pick a favorite. I agree with lizy that you should put these together as a children's book!
