Oh gosh, the great blog posts you're missing...

if you're not a follower of the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Blog.

For instance, did you check out Lori DeBoer's excellent post last Thursday about critique groups?

Or Trai Cartwright's post on October 3rd where she tried to define the New Adult genre (and believe me, that's not easy).

Today the blog features guest author Colleen Oakes with a post about hiring a publicist because she simply does not have enough time to do everything she needs to do to promote her books. The funny thing is, I had no idea just how insane Colleen's life is at the moment until I slipped over to check out her blog. Honestly, you don't want to miss it....especially because it has a gorgeous little baby picture. Oh, my, I have such a weakness for the tiny ones. Her post is called "Eight Mid-Week Confessions" and you do not want to leave here until you know the rest of her story. And then slip back over to the RMFW Blog to read "Why I Decided to Hire a Publicist."

And here on my own blog, I have Susan Oleksiw returning this Thursday with a post about using timelines to make sure your don't screw up your novel with 60-hour days or a protagonist in two places at the same time.

And on the 24th, journalist Shelley Widhalm writes about words, and she does it so poetically, it's like reading a meditation. I love that.

Now it's your turn. Give me the link to the best blog post you've read in the last couple of weeks. Let's spread the love.

RMFW blog DOES rock, doesn't it? That head editor must be REALLY amazing....

Heading over to read her post now.

There have been lots of great posts!

I think the Bookshelf Muse moving to become Writers Helping Writers is the biggest news I've seen lately :)

I'll have to go read it!
Lynda's post today at the IWSG is awesome. So was Anne R Allen's at her blog yesterday.

I wish I could afford a publicist. Going to check out the post.

Pat - Those really are great blog posts, and I'm looking forward to Susan's and Shelley's work. My contribution? One of the best writing blogs ever (besides yours!) is Elizabeth Spann Craig's Mystery Writing is Murder. You can't go wrong with a visit there.

The piece about critique was excellent. I tried to leave a comment but I couldn't get past Disqus. That format is one that I get through sometimes, but not this time.
