Well, almost.
I've been through most of my email.
Not even trying to tackle Twitter or Facebook today.
Going unplugged for eight whole days has its downside.
I hope to have a couple of reviews up early this week because I actually did a little reading while I was gone.
And on Thursday, I have a guest author from Five Star/Cengage, Janet Simpson.
Wow, writing this blog post was hard work. I think I need a nap.

Welcome back! I think I'd have to nuke my emails and unread blog posts and start over after that long of an absence.
Patricia, good to see you back. I can't image what 8 days of emails would look like.
Welcome back, Pat. Good luck getting caught up.
I took a vacation free of computer and phone for 3 days - and it was soooo nice! I really yearn for the "dinosaur days" of my childhood when you just locked the door, left, and when you came home there MIGHT be a small stack of mail and some phone messages on the answering machine.
Hi Patricia,
Once you are completely back on the saddle, you'll be having a great time.
Nice to see you almost return. Thank you for a short post. Now I need a nap.
Gary :)
Good for you, Patricia! You're living my dream. I fear my Inbox would blow up after a week of unread emails, but you inspired me to give it a try. Probably I need to go someplace where there's no Wi-fi, to keep me on the straight and narrow. Myanmar, perhaps?
Welcome back :)
Those emails can be overwhelming! Nap is definitely in order :)
Glad to have you back. We all need a break from the social world now and then.
I've been traveling all month--and completely away from the computer/Internet for ten and more days at a time, twice. Two hundred emails, and yes, Alex, I have to nuke most of the unread blog posts, etc. I'll be months rebuilding my connections, but sometimes, you just have to hit the trail.
