Lazy Blogger's Post (Yep, Another One)

Last week I had unexpected company for two days, one of our dear kids who always get as close to 100% of my attention as possible. As a result, I'm looking for ways to cut a few corners. Thus today's easy post.

I'm a sucker for blog posts with intriguing or funny titles and tend to read them first, so I gathered a few from my blogrolls yesterday and included the links.

Do the posts live up to their great titles? I'll let you be the judge of that.

"It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year (Well, Almost)" from Stephen Tremp at Breakthrough Blogs

"Which came first: the diabetic chicken, the obese egg or the depressed farmer?" from Peter Springberg at "Eat like the Doc does"

"Poe lived in a dump and why I suck" from E. J. Wesley at The Open Vein

"Regrettably..." from Luana Krause's fictional character Madison W. at Fixing Madison

Check out your own blogrolls. If you see a fascinating title there, feel free to include it and the link in the comments. Maybe we'll make some new friends today.

Pat - Oh, those are intriguing blog post titles. What a clever idea for a post! Thanks for passing these along.

Those are some amazing titles.

Great - one more thing to deal with. I hate coming up with titles for books, and blogs aren't much easier. Now I'll feel like a failure for having boring blog titles. Sigh.

I'm with Terry! I'm bad with titles. I love these! Thanks for posting them. Now I may be able to make a few new friends today.

The visit with your "dear kid" takes priority in my book. Hope you enjoyed it!!!

Great titles and a clever post. You're a sly one you are.

Margot -- you're welcome. It sure made for a quick solution to my time problem.

Alex -- Naked always works for me (as an intriguing blog title, I mean), and so does chocolate, "aargh", and any whiny title about a writer's schedule. :)

Hi Clarissa -- thanks for stopping by.

Terry and Ann -- Sometimes I wrack my brain for clever titles and end up with nothing. The April A to Z Challenge is something I'd like to work on ahead of time to see how many good titles I can come up with.

Hi Mary -- I'm often desperate enough to cruise through my blogrolls to see what others are writing about. Sometimes the topic choices give me an idea.

Hey, thanks for the shout out. Always appreciate it. And I do need to get out more and meet some new people in Blogdom.

You're welcome, Steve. There are so many wonderful blogs out there that it's hard to stop looking.

Hi G.E. -- thanks for dropping by.

I admit my own post title today isn’t too grabby but it is too the point. But I too usually look for fun titles.

Holly -- I was surprised how many posts I saw with the same name like Fun Friday. I used to post a Bits and Pieces on Wednesdays but saw the same thing on other blogs and changed mine to Wednesday Scramble. It's hard to come up with original stuff.

I love the titles and will try to hop over to read all of them.

Hi Jane -- It's always a challenge to make sure the post and the title are equally interesting. :)

A title that jumps out a me will usually draw me to a blog post. It's a good example of first impressions and how they affect us.
