Brain Freeze

I get these every once in a while. Slumped in my chair here in my little office, I gently place my fingers on asdf and jkl; and wait. Nothing. My inquiring mind goes to work:

What exciting things happened this week? Surely there's a post somewhere in all this chaos.

Well, there's the new workout schedule.

Nah, everyone's doing that. What about Katie Cat. Any good kitty stories?

Only the one about her biting me on the nose. She didn't break the skin or I might be in the hospital by now getting pumped full of antibiotics. Probably not worth mentioning.

The weather?

It's been mostly lovely with only a little wind and one day of cold. Nothing to talk about there.

No writing news?

Not really.

Then what have you been doing all week?

Stuff. It's hard to write a blog post about stuff. I'm not George Carlin, you know.

That's for sure. I give up. Sit there with your fingers on asdf and jkl; and I'll check on you later.

As soon as my inquiring mind wanders off to do her own thing, I'm outta here. See you Monday.

Pat - I know what you mean about keeping busy with "stuff;" I do that, too! Glad to hear you didn't sustain a serious kitty-related injury!

January just isn't conducive to interesting things happening to me other than my birthday. Your kitty is so cute. I just adopted a sweetie in September. She is fun and naughty and a nose nibbler as well.

Hope you have a happy day!

:-)

My post was random today, but it was fun because I haven't done that in a while.

The Ninja Warrior Cat strikes again!

Margot, Katie Kitty scares me sometimes. Ken's right about her being a ninja warrior cat...she's also a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, so you never know when she's going to strike.

Hi Christine -- Happy Birthday! I hope you enjoy your kitty as much as we do ours...and I hope your kitty is a little less fierce than ours.

Alex -- I'll be over to check out your randomness in just a few minutes. I'm betting yours is more interesting than mine.

Ken -- yes, she's back. Her newest trick is to race up behind me and attack my foot from the rear. I don't dare go barefoot...

An entertaining blog about nothing in particular. Way to go!

This is a great example, Pat, how we don't need to write a "fancy" post to connect with our friends. I thought this was JUST lovely! (And I'll remember this on the days when MY "creative" brain goes dead!!)

Nancy, thanks for calling the post entertaining. You're very kind.

Hi Ann, I guess it happens to all of us from time to time. That's when "stream of consciousness" can actually come in handy. :)

asdf & jkl - I know exactly what you mean.

But on my keyboard I´d soon hit æøå - and believe me, they make all the difference ;)
