I wish I'd win the lottery...although that's not likely since I rarely buy a lottery ticket. And besides that, this is Friday the 13th, so any wishes made today probably will never come true anyway.
There are quite a few things I'd do with a few million bucks, some philanthropic and some for me (and family, of course).
Of the "me" things, I'd first go to more writers' conferences and mystery fan conventions each year. There are so many I haven't been to yet, like the upcoming Pikes Peak Conference in Colorado Springs, one in Crested Butte, Colorado, one in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a couple in Alaska...sigh!
Hiring a file clerk to organize my clutter would be pretty high on my list as well.
Maybe if I picked one set of numbers and played them consistently, spending only $2.00 a week, I'd eventually hit pay dirt. Got any good numbers for me?

Pat - You've got some good ideas for what to do if you hit the lottery :-). It's funny; I was just talking to two acquaintances yesterday about what we'd do with a huge, huge lottery win. Maybe someday...
We had an office pool for the last mega millions, the really big one. Of course we didn't get any numbers right.
Well ... today is Friday the 13th ... maybe today is a good day to buy a ticket, as long as it has the number 13 in it!
I'm still hoping for a lottery win. It seems like it could potentially simplify my life. Of course it could also make things immensely more complicated.

I'd love to win the lottery, but then again I never buy a ticket, so there you go! Blessings sweetie!
Forty-two is the answer to life, the universe, and everything, so I'll go with that.
I'd hire someone to mow my lawn.
Here's to hoping things can work out with that lottery ticket. It would be nice. I've seen the shows where lottery winners had their lives turned upside down, but there are more out there who've done well.
Anything more than 1million (net) would be an amount I'd use for charitable reasons. After all, I figure I could survive okay on 1million net. But since I too rarely play, it is probably not going to happen anytime soon. I'd say pick my birthday (04/19) but unfortunately it seems all kinds of bad things happen on that day (Oklahoma City bombing).
my kids laugh at me, but i sincerely believe i will hit the lottery one day--hope you do too
I'd hire someone to clean my house! Heaven!!! :)
Hiring a file clerk to organize the clutter sounds good to me! I've read the impossible odds of winning the lottery, but good luck anyway!

In S.E Asia, they go to the graves at midnight to get their numbers from the dear departed. You might want to try that ;)
Hope you’re enjoying the challenge so far!

If I had some lucky numbers, I'd give you one but alas, I'm not much of a lottery player either, lol.
I did, however, play the recent Megamillions game for that jackpot that was on the TV news. I bought two tickets and didn't win on them. I used the numbers from a fortune cookie slip that I had though. I'm so terrible at this lottery thing, lol.
Cheers!

I seldom play, but when I do, I genuinely think I'm going to win. I obviously, never do...
