In this workshop, Jaxine Daniels will help you jump start your new year by sharing tips for getting your work done and increasing your productivity. Topics will include scheduling, goal setting, writer’s block (or lack thereof), and getting yourself going when you’re stuck.


Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers

My son is moving back to Colorado Springs in the middle of May. What might be happening in May and June?

Margot and Alex, Colorado is a great place for writers. There are other conferences and workshops I haven't even touched on, including one in Crested Butte in the mountains. Libraries and other businesses in Colorado feature local authors in big events and small panels and workshops.

Susan, I think Pikes Peak holds a "Write Brain" event every month in Colorado Springs and the one in May is on voice (May 20th). Look under events on the Pikes Peak Writers website (link above in the post). There are monthly programs in the Denver area from RMFW and also from Rocky Mountain Mystery Writers of America. And that Crested Butte Conference in the mountains is in June (
