Colorado mystery author Mike Befeler gave his blog a new name because he's writing in multiple genres now. His blog post this week shows another one of his interesting sidelines: panhandling. Or at least, pretending to be a panhandler. Check out yesterday's post, "Back on the Streets Again."
What Lesa Has in Her September Closet
Every month when Lesa does her "What's in My Closet?", I drool over the books she may be reading and reviewing for Lesa's Book Critiques. Sometimes I wish I could be a reviewer instead of a writer...but then I quickly come to my senses. Reading a book for critique or review is a lot different from reading for fun. I guess I prefer to read for fun.

I write in many genres and for many age groups, and I love the flexibility of being willing (maybe not so much able, but still willing :D) to give almost anything a go!
Thanks, Pat, for mentioning my blog. I still read for pleasure. If I don't like a book, I don't finish it, and it doesn't get a review. But, you're right. There's something special about zipping through a book without taking notes.
